NextoNow is a platform dedicated to the practice and performance of interdisciplinary improvisation. NtN is an ongoing project begun in 2018 that provides a platform for time based/performance artists of various disciplines to come together to practice composing in real-time. By design, the format invites participation by local artists at diverse points in their careers and allows for experimentation and boundary pushing. It is directed by Elise Knudson in collaboration with the participants. Based in New York City until now, NtN is expanding up to Beacon, NY where we expect to participate in the Second Saturdays gallery walks come spring 2022.
